Founded in 2020 by three friends in Phoenix, Arizona, our company was born from a shared passion for adventure and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Inspired by the majestic landscapes of national parks and the call of the wild, we set out to create sunglasses that are not only stylish and durable but also sustainably made. Our wooden sunglasses reflect our commitment to eco-friendly practices, ensuring that every pair contributes to the preservation of the natural world we love to explore.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

NATURAL MATERIALS

Our products are constantly evolving. Our passion for experimenting with new designs and materials keeps Papago fresh with each new collection.

All of our glasses are made with the earth in mind. Sustainable wood is used to build quality and and appealing frames for our products and recycled plastic is used wherever possible as well.

Our lenses are made with acetate, a plant-based plastic, that is not only better for the planet, but better quality, look, and durability for the glasses as well.

With these sustainable materials, we are able to bring you glasses you can look good wearing, and feel clean-concioused wearing.

GLOBAL COLLABORATION

Papago products are made not only with the planet in mind, but with the help of many different parties through it.

Our wood is gathered sustainibly from all over the planet, manufactured, and delivered to you, our valued customer. Recycled plastics are gathered in a similar fashion from around the globe, in order to repurpose into the stylish designs we all love.

Designed for you, it takes a team to develop these products. Beggining with a simple sprout or a used water bottle, all the way to an elegegant and guilt free design on your beautiful face.

FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY

What sets many of our glasses apart is our focus on sustainably farmed wood. We use many different woods in our glasses, to make for a collection of glasses as diverse as the world we love.

Actions speak louder than words. That is why with each exclusive collection that we release, we promise to pledge a percentage of our profits to help a cause special to the biome or landscape the individual collection drew its inspiration from.

If you receive a pair of our glasses and do not like the way our design fits on your noggin, send us an email with a picture of you wearing them and ship the pair back to us.

Our team of stylists will take a look and find a pair that better matches the shape of your face.
